Negative Approach - S/T 7"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weGJ1kfUkkA

Old-school bare-bones hardcore that everybody should already know...Short, to the point, concrete slabs of songs..."NOTHING"

Cadillac Freeze - "So Vibratious" EP

http://cadillacfreeze.bandcamp.com/

Confident and funky hip hop thats both fun and strong without having any gangster pretense or overwhelming ignorance...Good stuff

Himsa - "Courting Tragedy and Disaster"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8FopIzE8Tc&list=ALBTKoXRg38BCkaMOJA23ekhr1Ni7d77LT

2000s metalcore from Washington state thats so much more boring and generic and put-together than I remember

Faith No More - "Angel Dust"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiyvw5AD-C8

Probably the best metal album of the 1990s if not of all time...I was fucking OBSESSED with this album last summer so much so that its like beaten to death for me but its still a classic..."Smaller and Smaller"/"Everything's Ruined"/"Kindergarten"/"Be Aggressive"

Mighty Mighty Bosstones - "Let's Face It"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeEnuPFRSdw&list=PL6570B1FFA5968967

This album has "The Impression That I Get" on it, the song that sent third-wave ska into a short mainstream focus. I think a lot of people see this band as like, not serious or something, but this is a very strong album about alcoholism and drug use and shit, and I listen to it more than any other ska album besides maybe stuff by The English Beat..."That Bug Bit Me"/"Never Mind Me"/"Break So Easily"...so good

Dystopia - "The Aftermath"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WJ2BvYA3As&list=PLXr6roSqjbmOSp3_lPpZZU_zwht14akuE

Almost debilitatingly negative and harsh but an absolute classic for metallic crust..."Population Birth Control"

Faith No More - "The Real Thing"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5sKgTMu7Gk

Why doesn't Mike Patton ever use this high-pitched voice anymore, or like ever after this album? The apex of funk-metal.
